Threshold 2011

We are excited to announce that we are now organizing Threshold 2011.  We are at the early planning stages but hope to host the event in London later this year.  Most people will know that Theshold2010 was entirely organized and funded by Nomad.  We are now hoping more people will get involved to make the day even bigger and better.

We are looking for speakers, sponsors and for anyone who generally wants to help out.  If you are interested in becoming involved email us at threshold@nomad-rdc for more information. Subscribe to this years blog for regular updates http://threshold2011.wordpress.com

At Last!

Finally after many printing issues and a little bit of stress the final booklet for Threshold2010 has arrived.  We will be sending these out to all those who requested a copy over the coming week.  If you would like a copy email us at threshold@nomad-rdc.com

Wish you were here?

A feature on Threshold appeared in this months news section of the national publication, The Library and Information Gazette.  Many thanks to Debbie Raven for her kind words and for attending the event. To see the full article go to, http://tiny.cc/7axku

Post – Threshold

Thanks to all the speakers, attendees and particularly the ‘Thresholdettes’ for making Thursday such as special day.  We have had wonderful feedback so far and there has been a real demand for a future event in London.  As a result we are now planning Threshold 2011 early next year.  Keep an eye on the blog which we will be updating in the next week or so with presentations, photographs and video from the day.

Join the debate

Threshold aims to allow people to share their knowledge and experience of creating ‘people centered’ spaces. On the day we plan to allow you to leave video feedback and post questions to the speakers via the Nomad twitter. We will have a specially set up area where you can privately record your questions and opinions or feedback which we will relay to each speaker on the day. Excitingly Inflate, www.inflate.co.uk have kindly donated 2 inflatable pods for this purpose.  They are on route to us now, fingers crossed we get them on time.

Threshold programme

In preparation for Thursday here is a PDF of the Threshold programme with a Foreword by Val and Biographies for each speaker. threshold | programme
